Chelsea Montemayor entered the design contest with a very open mind, giving the designers free reign to win her over with a logo concept. With no restrictions, she was flooded with many unique designs of varying colors and styles. As usual, the designers provided many great concepts that she was thoroughly impressed with. Faced with about 8 logos that she really liked, Chelsea entered the process of eliminating designs with the aid and input of CrowdPicker's community.
Six polls were launched in total, with polls ranging in size from 100 to 300 voters. Progressive polling, mixed with Chelsea and her groups input helped narrow down the selection to three main entries. Chelsea was cautious to choose a design based on the cliché symbol of the apple as her final selection, but throughout the voting process, this design continued to win every poll by a large margin.
After seeing the support from the crowd for the Apple design, she began to see the Apple in a different light; and that the updated version would communicate effectively with her audience. With the support of CrowdPicker, Chelsea became confident in her selection of the Apple as her final choice.
